If you haven’t heard, Substack recently released a new “social media type of feature” called Notes.
Notes is a new space on Substack for us to share links, short posts, quotes, photos, and more.
I plan to use it for things that don’t fit in the newsletter, like:
my recent insights, thoughts, and contemplations,
work-in-progress,
quotes that I found useful and have been on my mind,
quick questions,
sharing interesting articles and newsletters from other writers, etc.
Notes is built similarly to Twitter minus everything that makes social media “social media” - if you know what I mean.
I’m super excited to use this feature regularly and see how it will develop, change and hopefully improve over time.
Here’s a sample of what I’ll be posting on Substack Notes:
How to join
Head to substack.com/notes or find the “Notes” tab in the Substack app. As a subscriber to Conquering Burnout, you’ll automatically see my notes. Feel free to like, reply, or share them around!
You can also share notes of your own. I hope this becomes a space where every reader of Conquering Burnout can share thoughts, ideas, and interesting quotes from the things we're reading on Substack and beyond.
If you encounter any issues, you can always refer to the Notes FAQ for assistance. Looking forward to seeing you there!
That’s it for today, I’ll see you back next week with a full newsletter about a burnout-related topic.
Nice. Love notes.
I’m testing it for short thoughts. Sort of little drafts, that could develop into longer form articles.
This is an example, inspired by the Tao Te Ching:
