The transition from 2021 to 2022
My year 2021, how to move forward in 2022 and my greetings to all of you
As for some — perhaps many — of you, the year 2021 has been very difficult, challenging and complicated for me too.
Satirically, I could sum it up like this:
I can’t decide if I need a hug, punch someone in the face or cry like a child when his parents didn’t buy him the thing he wanted… I don’t know if I need an XL coffee, 6 shots of vodka, 2 weeks of sleep or destroy myself in the gym… I don’t know if I should send everything to **** and start anew, or move to a place far away from civilization… ”
We could discuss for hours and hours what went wrong and who is to blame for such a difficult year: maybe the pandemic, the virus and disease, the economic struggles, restrictions of normal life, fear and uncertainty about the future…
I could write a multi-page long blogpost about what went wrong with my year, what I struggled with and how I felt through this year.
But I think we all have enough of this negativity and would rather forget this year and enter a new year where things would be better.
New year, new beginnings
For some, the transition to a new year is not very important, but for many, the New Year marks some kind of a new beginning: a turning point when we start living differently — at least a little.
But before that, we have to clear things up and leave behind us what wasn’t good — because otherwise we’ll carry it with us in the next year.
For me, the New Year is a time to clean things a little: to process the things that weighed me down, to try to let them out of me and leave them behind me, and then try to enter the New Year with new energy, goals and vision in mind. and live differently.
Good things can always be found, despite everything. We can always find beautiful moments, achievements and things we can be grateful for — we just have to try a push through the comfort, let go of our ego, change our perspective and browse through our memories.
Going into 2022
Today was also my last day at my first regular job. With 2022, I will start anew: venturing into the unknown, investing in myself, building my business and doing things that bring me joy, sense of purpose, sense of mission, and believing in the vision for my life.
I will leave behind everything that I want to have and feel in 2022 and carry with me what was good in 2021.
If you haven’t already, I encourage you to do the same. Here’s how you can do it:
1. Analyze your year 2021
What were the good and bad things that happened to you this year, what are you the most proud of, what were the most challenging times.
2. Make a list of bad things that you want to leave behind in 2021
Write all the bad experience, emotions, breakups, fear, stress, trauma, etc… from 2021. When you have the list of items, go through the list, feel and visualize the things, set an intention to release them from your body, mind and soul and leave them in this year.
You can also burn the list or destroy it in any other way.
3. Make a list of good things you want to experience more of in 2022
Write down what you want to experience more of: emotions, feelings, experiences, successes, etc… Go through the list, feel and visualize the things and experiences and set an intention to have more of them in the year 2022.
You can put the list somewhere visible so you’ll be reminded.
4.Set goals and vision of your life in 2022
You can do the same for your goals and vision of your life. Set some goals and a vision of your life for 2022, feel, visualize and experience it and set an intention to achieve it in the year 2022.
You can put the statement somewhere visible so you’ll be reminded.
At this point, I wish you a happy, successful and joyful year 2022. Love yourself, trust and believe in yourself and be brave on your path that you feel called for! ✨ ♥ ️✌️
