Interesting the point you make on “Sometimes I forget (and ignore) that I'm burned out“.
My current energy level and durability feels lower than before.
I often ask myself if it is actually lower (and related to the point you make), or is instead the same as it has always been (minus the effect of ageing) — but I’m now simply more connected to my body, hence feeling things as they really are.
Have you figured out how to reply a similar question? Assuming you can relate to what I’m saying ;)
Thank you Livio, I always appreciate your feedback!
Yes, I've thought about it quite, haven't yet found the correct answer, but I think it could be due to several factors.
An intense episode or multiple episodes of burnout can leave a damage on our body and cause low energy; it could be a more disregulated nervous system and hormonal changes due to burnout; it could be fear and trauma that are left after burnout, negatively influence our mind, emotions and belief system and thus hold us back; and like you said it yourself, could be aging or being more in touch with your own body and emotions.
It really hard to say because there's no (little) science surrounding this topic, these are my assumption.🙂
